What little holes are you asking about?

The little holes in the bottom next to where the needles go through the diaphragm... Doesn't matter now I faced them towards the air filters and it's running great. TY for the response.

So I know op said his was fine, but is there a correct side for the hole in the bottom of the slide near the needle?

I'm actually kind of curious about this as well. Given the setup I don't think it would make a difference but I made sure the holes pointed towards the sync screw on the carbs like they did when I pulled them out.
