Yoshi Exhaust question
I have a question regarding a Yoshi exhaust
what is the difference between Aluminium,Platinum and Carbon Fiber other than the fact they are made from a different material ? |

Not sure if it's the case with the Yoshi pipes, but Two Brothers recommends against putting the carbon and titanium pipes on a dyno because they're more sensitive to heat than aluminum.

i dont know why but i like the looks of Yoshi as compared to other exhaust but again i know it is a personal choice because i dont mind having a aluminum exhaust the only thing i wanting to check if the material effects the performance of the exhaust in any way

Carbon Fiber does not get as hot as aluminum or platinum.

I would think they test all systems regardless of material for their in house R&D, but aren't warranting customers who dyno test those systems.

All our Dyno, Jetting, & Mapping sessions are done exclusively with our carbon fiber mufflers. We have no problems whatsoever with having our customers dyno test with them. It's a combination of the quality and heat rating of carbon fiber/resin that we use, along with the Silent Sport Premium packing material.

I know someone who's carbon yoshi sorta wrinkled and got screwed up on him from heat. It was about 5-6 yrs ago though. It did get messed up. I don't know if he had the right can or what but Ive seen it with my own eyes.

I've done dyno runs on my CF yoshi with zero problems, I'd say if you have any questions or concerns give them a call. Their customer support is top notch.
