Did a photoshoot with him for fun and to help a friend test out their new lenses and flashes. Came out awesome!

Wish I had time to wash him but eh...I'll be taking him back in when he's got his new paintjob going anyway.

I have the DMP eliminator, and it looks great. Very easy to install, metal construction and it's pretty sturdy.

Let me know if you want a picture of it. (Bike is stored in the shed......damn snow)

Pictures would be great, can't find much online, also does it have a spot to mount a license plate light?

Cool Title... I don't need no dirty stinkin' title!

I rather hope the R&G racing fender eliminator is plastic, it'll be lighter and will flex more without breaking if anything does happen, and will be in keeping with the existing plastic.

Installed new Spiegler brake line.

Replaced my tiny Koso speed sensor magnets that go in the mounting bolts with these ultra high powered magnets that fit flush in the rotor buttons, no long able to go 223 mph

Bought a toaster oven off Craigslist and ordered 10lbs worth of various powder coating powders from the net. Going to ride out to harbor freight in awhile to go buy the power coating gun

So who wants their exhaust headers and can powder coated

I think ill powder coat my frame orange then slap some KTM stickers on it

Nope, no place to mount a plate light. Though you could easily wire in those LED bolts to screw in your license plate.

Example: http://www.amazon.com/White-Super-Br...plate+led+bolt

I'll trudge through the snow sometime this weekend, dig out the shed door and take some pictures of the bike.

How big is this toaster oven!

I finally was able to buy an OEM tool kit for my bike on Ebay (when I bought the bike, there wasn't one) and was able to adjust my shock... It had been at the lowest setting and I was able to finally adjust it up! I haven't been able to ride with the new adjustment yet, hopefully this weekend, but I did sit on it and it seems a LOT firmer!

if the powder coating gun is any indication, the toaster oven could probably roast a whole pig.

12" but kinda shallow. Its big enough to do my rotors and exhaust hanger plus I can use it for testing. I still keeping an eye open for a used electric kitchen oven that can do bigger parts as well as act a donor for the parts I need to build my own larger oven.

Yes but for bigger parts(exhausts) ill need to find a used kitchen oven to rape parts from and build a larger oven Rojoracing style

If you have something small I can do it but you'll have to find the exact color you want in powder form because with zero stock and no experience I'm still experimenting.

Nothing There is snow everywhere!

I am glad I own such a small bike though, I put her in the garage last night and she had to go in sideways. So I pulled the front in, went to the back, picked it up, and put her the rest of the way in.

Sure thing, I was meaning my slip ons, which I think disassemble into 2 pieces; the actual can, and the mid pipe. I can measure them if you'd like?

My dad's company is into windscreen wiper manufacture, so we have a pretty hefty PC setup. I can powder coat pretty much everything I want including the kitchen sink... lol The problem?

My S-bend is the max that would fit and its actually touching the top and only 10mm from the bottom, but it fits and that's all that mattered

I think it was 13 inches but to be safe I can do most things up to 12" right now

colors are like a two or three coat process I think so I'll be testing on some alloy scrap I have lying around before I coat anything important.

Sounds good to me. Keep me updated on the coloring

My slip ons are actually quite short compared to most. I think by breaking them down in teh middle, they would probably fit. When I get off my lazy ass today I'll get proper measurements lol.

Haven't done much with the bike recently. Today with decent temps I cleaned the pod filter and crank case breather, cleaned and lubed chain, cleaned and lubed throttle and clutch cables.

Ordered a Spiegler front brake line and Vesrah pads.

Weather should cooperate tomorrow and will have a nice enjoyable ride while breaking in some new A* SMX Plus vented boots.

My friend bought a house last fall, so I opted to keep Ninja in his garage over winter.

Yesterday, we (he worked on his 650r) changed the oil, spark plugs, brake fluid, major chain clean/l00b, and did a good scrub down on the engine.

I'm not sure if it's because I've not ridden in about a month but MAN did Ninja sound extra sexy today! It might have been 15 degrees out and a solid 25 minutes riding 60mph, but it was worth it.

I still have some minor things I'd like to do before the weather gets better. I'd like to add a tiny bit of loctite to some fairing bolts that keep getting lose, finally install my preload adjusters and speigler brake lines that I've had laying around for almost a year, and install my water temp sensor from the Koso kit.

Over the past month or so, I've been considering selling Ninja in order to better afford a 650r or zx6r.. but after getting back on her today, I think I'm good

Damn near almost burned up all my oil. It was like just the tiniest bit over the bottom mark on the sight glass. Good thing I looked at the gas station a few blocks away. Pushed it home just to be safe. Filled it up with some oilz and it's all good now

Bought number four (engine number 3)! Time to update my profile. This time it's a black 2007 EX250F with tons of new/extra parts. Engine seemingly runs great but the frame is slightly bent where the triple connects. Technically, it's a running parts bike (and a half!) unless I can have it tweaked back but it is a clear title (not "salvage") and I can use the engine in one of the others right away. The whole thing was $450, which is less than I'd expect to pay for the engine alone. The right exhaust is rashed with a snapped peg and some of the fins on the engine are cracked, but I have other plans and these will not be concerns.

The extra tank is one I remember seeing on eBay long ago! Looks like it could probably use a treatment though. Also has a new/never installed Slingshot Racing gas cap (my second one), unused OEM stickers, new OEM birdcage (upper fairing stay), and a bunch more.

Edit: Pics.

Wow, that looks really clean for an 08 that isn't running? What's up with it?

It was on older ladies bike. She didn't ride it much and it was in storage for 2 years. I bought it from a guy who bought it from her. The guy tried to get it running but just didn't have enough time nor the place to work on it so he sold it me

the lady had dropped it on the right side so he has cracked fairings and a few blems here and there. Other than that's the bike is mint and has been garaged kept!

Awesome find. I'd guess it's probably as easy as a quick gas purge and carb clean. I have a friend in Illinois who buys bikes "non-running" bikes and fixes em for huge profits.

I'd do it too if I had the extra time and cash. Neither of which many of us have

Yeah, the previous guy said he try cleaning the carbs but I suspect he didn't do a good job of it. I'm going to check compression first and then start tearing into the carbs. The guy said it'll fire up when starter fluid.

Time is one thing... the cash problem quickly rectifies itself after the first sale... assuming you don't blow the wad when you sell it.
