New ninjette rider and member

I just joined this group because I just got a Ninja 250. Actually, I am picking it up today at my RI dealer. I have been riding since the 70's on a variety of bikes and have a Vulcan 800 and a FJ600 now. I entered the Kaw "Good Times" sale promotion and WON - a bright green 2012 Ninjette. I just haven't seen it yet. So I guess I'm a newbie when it comes to these bikes and look forward to the information this group's members already have.

Thank you for the welcome jk, though I am afraid that I will be keeping this one. Otherwise, I would have no reason to be in this friendly forum. It can't be too hard to find a lonesome ninjette looking for a home. There are alot of them out there, though some (many) seem way over-priced.

It is definetely a sign that you belong here as well as to be a Ninjette owner. Take care of her, she is an amazing machine and she will give you a smooth reliable ride everywhere you go (lol). Her gas is amazing too (lol).

Oh, I'm having too much fun here. Really though, these are outstanding bikes and very dependable. You will have a lot of fun here learning. Just ask and everyone else will wreslte to answer you first with detailed instructions and/or comments. This truely is the best Ninja 250 forrum on the net.
