Cover suggestions?
I'm looking for an all-weather cover for my Ninja and a lot of them look like they'd be too big for the bike. Does anyone have an all-weather cover that they really like and fits well?

I just got pair of these for my VFR and CBR: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B5L1KM4T
There's adjustable straps that connect underneath that you can tighten up for smaller bikes. |

I looked at the Amazon link. The design looks good. If it fits and works it only costs $25. It looks like it's worth a shot.
I'm on East coast DC area. Practically, no snow this year. Other years, not so easy. The better covers are from Nelson-Rigg and Dowco. Dowco makes one in motor scooter size. That's a short wheel base. It might fit. |

i originally bought Nelson Riggs cover back in '86 for my VF. Looked them last year and quaility has gone downhill, lots. That's why got these.
Had some crazy weather extremes this year! Summer's over 110F and freezing winter with SNOW, in desert!! Covers have held up great! Even got to do some snow riding! Cover I really want is this one I got from Honda dealer. If anyone knows of one, please let me know, thx. |

I have the Dowco All Weather. it's expensive, like over $100.
I learned from the first one I got that the sun wears it out in about a year (I'm in Florida). So for the second, I bought a second cover, much cheaper and much lighter that I put on top of the heavy Dowco. That way, the sun kills the cheap one, which I replace every year or year and a half, and make the expensive one last several years and my bike is always dry and away from the sun. |

Then I shuffle them to garage or outdoors to make room in workshop to do maintenance and upgrades. Cover's to keep sawdust and other project shrapnel off. New Honda cover looks like this, but no local dealers have it! I want to fondle it and touch it with my own hands first darn it!!! I guess I'll have to mail-order it and return if I don't like. Such hassle! |

“Considering the wear-and-tear issue with the Dowco All Weather cover in the Florida sun, have you explored alternative covers or protective measures for your motorcycles, and have you considered ordering the new Honda cover online despite the inconvenience?“
Geza covers block sunlight. They roll up smaller than a Dowco or a Nelson-Rigg. https://www.gezagear.com/ |
