Sunday Morning Ride in Marin - 3/24/13

Got up a bit late this morning, but really wanted to get the RT up to the SMR. Weather was chilly but clear on the way up, and I was kicking myself for being about 20 minutes late. Didn't stop for gas, but still passed an empty parking lot at the Deli around 8:17 or so. About halfway into the ride I caught up with 2 friends on the ride, and rode together the rest of the way to Howard's Cafe in Occidental. Eventually 7 of us made it for breakfast. Bike felt good, and I just felt a little old, whiny, and creaky. On the way back out, I stopped at Coleman Beach to take the obligatory new bike shots, and the sky/surf was perfectly clear and blue. The slab back home was interesting, with a multi-car pile-up happening right next to me, about 50 yards up the road and one lane over. Had enough space around to stay safe, and it looked like everyone was OK, with a relatively minor/moderate rear ending of one car causing a few to knock together.

All of my pics are up in this gallery.

I love the rocket launchers on each side of the bike. Makes it have that Apache Helicopter look.

You wouldn't believe how hard it was to program in Toyota Camry heat signatures.

Good on you for using a real camera. I feel like I should invest in one. You know, so the pictures actually look good when I blow them up on my desktop (I'm looking at you iPhone)

Thanks, Cam! I picked up a new small camera a few months ago, and it's been fantastic. Great motorcycling shots, and also does decent video as well.

Sony DSC RX100

20 megapixel sensor / 1080p/60 fps video!
