My 2nd little mod - Jardine fender eliminator

Soooo... I've been putting this off cause it looked so complicated, but a friend came over to help me who had done his recently and helped me out! It was a good thing he did because he had some tools that made it much easier

I'm so glad it's finally done!

Looks great. I see you added some license plate lights. Is a tire hugger next?

Was it the same friend that put in your alarm system and bunched up the antenna wire????? I'm not too fussy on the wires of the plate bolt lights are hanging down that low. I'd prefer them on the top which would allow me to hide the wiring a little more. Other than that nice install... and Rick is right...hugger must be next.

lol no... but this friend helped me fix up the alarm... i didnt pull the blue wire out that much, but we stuck it to the frame thinking that if it was touching it, then it might work better. I didnt have to reset it or anything, it just started working perfectly

I didnt realize that the lights didnt fit the bracket until after we installed it... and it looked easier to drill through my licence plate instead of the bracket.... i had to drill my licence plate anyhow to make it fit. The Jardine wasnt made for Ontario licence plates lol. I'm either going to order lights that are smaller or drill the bracket someday when i have more time to tinker around again

Tire huggers help keep water and dirt from being kicked up to the underside of the tail and sometimes on your backside.

oh i almost forgot... there was another thread around here with the jardine kit where the guy said in the removal process the stock screws that hold on the signal lights didnt survive. I have to second that! those are some cheap-o screws... mine made it, but barely, and i'm gonna replace them anyhow... anyone know what size they are?
