All powder coating is not created equal...

I know there is some confusion on the difference between DIY kits and shops... And I just want to let you know... the quality IS NOT the same. You may be asking how I know this. CAUSE IVE USED BOTH. I mean you can get some DIY kits and it can look pretty good but Im telling you its not the same. I had a dude on one of my car forums doing it in his garage and we compared quality, and my **** not only looked better it held up to abuse better...

This has been a public service announcement from a concerned powder coater....

it was mostly for another forum, but I copy pasted it here...

people were saying they did it but they are using their moms old oven and eastwood DIY kits. Charging people pretty much the same as actual shops. I dont care if people use me. A lot of the time its not cost effective. I just wanted people to know the quality isnt the same. Send it to a shop not a dude the internet who does it in his garage.
