new bike smell!!!
So after almost 11,000 miles on the Monster 696, I got myself a taller bike to accomodate my crappy knees. My criteria was better ergos while maintaining fun factor and it was close between a Ducati Hypermotard and the Aprilia Dorsoduro 750. While everything on paper said I should like the Hyper better, the DD just fit me better and I enjoyed the test rides more than on the Hyper.
Monster sold last week to a very nice couple riding Ninja's (not sure if they are members here) and home came this : IMAG0701.jpg IMAG0702.jpg IMAG0694.jpg IMAG0695.jpg IMAG0696.jpg IMAG0697.jpg |

Thanks everyone. It's a very fun ride and the seat height is perfect for commuting. I can see over most of the cars now

Thanks guys; 200 miles so far (come on weekend ) and a blast. Really enjoy that I can switch from Touring to Sport mode. It's like having two different bikes. R(ain) mode appears to actually stand for reduandant
