Gas Tank Removal; Carb Boots

My bike broke down yesterday and thanks to some helpful advice from members of this forum I figured out that the boots attaching the airbox to the carburator disconnected at the carb.

I just got this bike and do not know my way around...even basic stuff like removing the gas tank to get at the carb and airbox to reconnect the boots.

Wondering if anyone has come across a good Youtube video on instructions on removing the gas tank without spilling gas all over the place and torching my bike...

Thank you!
