Potential Battery Issue

Hi everyone. I need help, my ninja 250 battery died on me so i charged it and it worked for a few days but i noticed my rpm gauge would bounce up and down while riding and the bike felt like it was loosing power. next few days it did not start unless i jump start it with my car. i Bought a new battery filled it and charged it fully and it worked well for about a week but the bike started doing the same thing. rpm gauge bouncing up and down while riding and does not start unless i jump start. does anyone know what the problem could be? does my battery need to be refilled with acid or distilled water? tired of this annoying problem.

I don't know, I'm only here for the apple's.

You could buy a multi-meter, them things are good for electrical wizardry, it sounds lime the battery isn't getting charged.

Distilled water, or acid, depends on battery.

Read lots of stuff

Battery's fine, the problem is it's not begin re-charged. Measure voltage-output of battery when freshly charged, then measure voltage again when it starts acting up. Regulator and/or stator-coils may not be working to charge battery.

1. measure AC-output of each coil at idle and 4000rpms.
2. measure DC-output of regulator going to battery.
