TT Racing mishap

I'm not sure but that new light weight rear wheel is missing something.

Engineer...We have a perfect wheel to race with. Its light and strong. Able to withstand the pressure and loads involved in racing.

TT rider... So I can wheelie around turns. Slide over manhole covers or slide into curbs and jump bridges ??

Engineer .. No none of that!!!

TT rider... OK then

Mechanicals are the scariest thing to me about the UK road races. Absolutely crazy to watch this stuff.

Also, interesting that the footpegs are stock.

I am more keen to know how the rider was doing.

That right there is the definition of "wadded"

as if the hand of God picked up a bike and crumpled it into an almost unrecognizable ball.

You think right

He'd already dismounted by the time the worst of it happened...

Worth a look at Closer to the Edge, saw it in the cinema... these pics on a full size cinema screen

this was guy martin in 2010, not a mechanical he highsided at around 180mph and set a field on fire. And it wasn't even the most insane crash of that year.

video from rider behind him at 0:24
