dainese gear
i really love the look of dainese apparel but its just so damn expensive and on top of that it seems like they are always out of stock. anyone know of a good online store that sells their apparel? most of the popular online stores sell only protective gear, which is also freaken expensive

Revzilla stocks Dianese gear, and is a great online retailer. I'd go with STG linked below if you are military for reasons discussed in the Places to Buy Gear Online thread.

I've been to both stores in California and now I see there is one in Chicago. Maybe it's time for a store on the East Coast.
http://www.dainese.com/us_en/motorbike?cat=all I've had 9 or 10 of their track suits and love them. I still have a Dainese leather jacket from the 80's (Giacomo Agostini replica) that's still in good shape.

www.cyclegear.com has the Dianese Mugello STR (perforated) on sale right now for $299! I ordered mine two days ago. They have retail stores too if you're lucky enough to live close to one.
Free shipping! The sale ends tomorrow I think. Cyclegear.com has been good to me so far. |

I LOVE Dainese gear as well, but I buy mine directly from Italy since I go there once a year anyhow..
The above suggestions are all good for buying in the US |

Since you go to Italy all the time can you bring back a bag of pasta?

Regarding the pasta.. you can buy real authentic imported italian pasta right in the US, so no need for me to smuggle any in my suitcase (these FDA people at the airport keep herassing me all the time I'm flying back from Italy ) |

Thats 3 medium speed crashes, NO blown seams, NO wear through, and only minor cosmetic damage. So I went out and bought the protective shorts because I bruised my hip pretty hard on one of those crashes, as well as the back protector. If that doesn't sell you on a product's craftsmanship and quality, I don't know what does. You get what you pay for, and in this case, expensive definitely was worth it. Sold for life! |

Just purchased these shoes online (dainese dyno) which are new for 2011. After making the purchase, I find out that they ship straight from Italy so I won't be getting them for a couple of weeks :sigh:
