bike prep

I'm planning a good, long 4 day weekend trip and am looking for tips on what kind of bike prep that I should undertake. What should I check, adjust, change, etc before taking off?

Chain slack and wear, tires (tread) and pressure, fluid levels, lights and signals. Biggest thing for me besides that would be everything I needed for the trip. Cloths, water, tools, money, papers, ect.

Also food and snacks def. for a long trip. Like peanuts or trail mix and water or what not. Anything that obviously doesnt upset your stomach and have you stopping for bathroom breaks often LOL.

I also pack my extra cloths inside of a bag (trash bag or ect.) to keep them from getting wet or what have you. Anything you might need if you get stuck riding in the rain also. I always bring extra cloths because you just never know! I also carry a small first aid kit on the long hauls..
