Cigar smokers?

Just checking to see who all here smokes the occasional stogie and what your favorite smokes are.

Right now my current favorites are

San Cristobal Maduro (basically an Ashton Cigar)
Arturo Fuente Royal Brevas (good cheap everyday smokes)

I really want to get some Gurkha Black Dragons down the road.

Black and Mild's don't count in case you were wondering

LOL. I quit smoking a long time ago, but back when I was in the military, I used to smoke cigars quite a bit.

I usually smoked the Macanudo's
If you want the cheap stuff, Te-Amo's are probably the best cheapo's out there.
The absolute best cigars were the Patron Reserve's.

Macanudo was the first brand I started smoking, and I still recommend them for any beginner or experienced cigar fan for their mild to medium flavor and quality.

Most of the cigars I've ever smoked are the kind that people discard the tobacco in. How much do good cigars cost, and where do you buy them at, I'm guessing not at a gas station?

If there is a will there's a way!

I'm just lucky I have a friend here that goes over there semi-regularly and always brings back a few boxes.
Otherwise I dunno what cigars I'd smoke, I've never even looked to see whats for sale around here.

I'm not an expert on cigars but Cuban cigars may have that reputation becuase they are so hard to get.

Meh, I get the Cuban's for the same price as regular cigars cost here.
So I'm too stubborn to try anything else.

Most of the major families that were making Cuban cigars before the embargo moved to other parts of South America (Fuente family is one example). They are allowed to use Cuban Seed tobacco as long as it is not grown in Cuba, and to be honest Dominican and Honduras soil is just as good as cuba's. My honest opinion I think that Cuban cigars are overhyped, especially since you can get cigars from the major cuban brands still but they are just not grown in Cuba.
