[motorcycle.com] - Brazil Dropped from 2014 MotoGP Calendar
The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released an updated schedule for the 2014 MotoGP season that officially scrubs the Brazilian Grand Prix from the calendar. The Autσdromo Internacional Nelson Piquet circuit in Brasilia, Brazil, was originally penciled into the provisional calendar for Sept. 28 but with an asterisk as it hadn’t received official homologation approval. The 2014 season now has 18 rounds scheduled, with the Aragon round in Spain pushed back a week from Sept. 21 to take the Brazilian round’s date. 2014 MotoGP Calendar (as of Feb. 24, 2014)
