Hater. Actually I dig yours, green and purple right? I love 90's styled bikes with gaudy 90's paint schemes

Yepp. I wasn't fond of it when I bought it, but it's grown on me.

@Miles_Prower, the rangeeeeeeeeeeeee. I love how I can go around 250 miles on the 250R but I haven't pushed 120 on the ZX6R.

I will admit that I will usually take the 250R if I know the ZX6R is low on gas out of laziness. Can't complain about the 55-60MPG I get either.

wow 250!! thats amazing..i think the furthest i tried was about 190, and when i filled up i pumped like 3.6ish gallons. I don't think I've ever pumped 4 full gallons haha. Yeah, I'll see what I get on the 6R. I'm going to make a trip to pittsburgh next month (3 hrs each way) and then a trip to Chicaco the month after (10hrs each way). I'll probably have to stop several times lol

I think I pushed it to around 270 miles and that was when I was running on fumes. I fill up my bikes while they're on the sidestand so I don't maximize the gas tank capacity.

My fuel light on the ZX6R goes on at around 100-110 miles, but I do have a Speedohealer installed (my speedometer was about 8% generous) so it'll probably go on later at around 120 or so miles on a stock bike.

I get 200 +/- a few before I have to switch to reserve on my 500 just for reference. farthest I went was 235 then I had to push it through the last intersection into the gas station lmao. I ride incredibly aggressive too so the gas mileage I get amazes me

I've gotten to 150 miles before getting gas with my gsxr but I don't like to go much above 120 miles unless I know gas isn't too far. So roughly 40 mpg is what I get and I'd assume the others get the same depending on riding style. Definitely not as great as the ninja, but much better than my suv.

I feel that the saying, it's not the size, but how you use it applies doubly in this situation.

I've read plenty of stories of very experienced 250 riders keeping up with and sometimes overtaking less experienced riders of 600cc bikes on twisties.

And for the other case well, if ya know how to use all of your assets and skills properly in a tight "riding" situation, you'll always come out on top compared to the other guy who doesn't know what he's doing, goes way too fast on a "machine" he doesn't know how to ride, and blows it before he knows what happened.

What is Americas obsession with Chinese parts on their motorcycles?

I see it on every international bike forum,
90% of riders get a new bike and the first thing they want to do is remove new genuine parts and install the cheapest anodized cheese parts that you wouldn't put on your kids bicycle.

You forgot to say that more women = bigger drain on bank account so that ends up making you in the negative so your big CC ends up being just a show.

and your gsxr is a hell of a lot faster than your suv at the same time!

I wonder if I can squeeze out 45-50mpg if I'm careful lol.

Average on Fuelly is around the 40 MPG mark, I doubt you'll get 45-50 MPG.

Normal commuting, ~30 miles freeway ~10 miles city daily. I use 6th gear a lot, haven't really ever ripped on it yet.
