they should work, i know a couple of guys with Sonic Springs paired with the GVE.

and that's odd, I emailed the guy at Sonic Springs and HE asked me about what my weight. and riding type. I am 180lb and ended up with .80 springs and recommended me to use 15W oil.

Is that your weight including gear or without? My Ninja 250 when I bought it came with Sonic Springs 0.70mm..9lives (Walt) borrowed my bike and he weighs the same if not more and had no complaints regarding suspension...and the tire wear looked normal.
