What is the difference
Has anyone out there got any pics of the original Kawasaki green and the new green for the special edition 250r i am trying to see what the difference is.
Kawasaki called me today and said my bike will be delayed until the first week of may due to long waiting list so i said do you have a standard edition 2012 and they said no it is a different green. Bearing in mind this has been translated to me from Thai......

Standard is that regular bright green...the 2012 version is like the 2011 ZX-14R, a candy lime green. It's like metallic paint almost.
Kawasaki Green Candy Lime Green See the difference???

If you've seen one of the new Chevy Camaros, the new green on the 2012 ninja's is almost identical to that.

Believe it or not but in the states a large part of delays is the line of WalMart container ships heading in both directions at all times. My original down home honest country boy one man dealer told me the routes, waits, and bullshit he had to wait on to be able to show his wares. Or deliver my 05 250 and 06 650

I thought the candy green on the 250 was a 2011 color. I'm really not impressed with the options for 2012. I haven't seen any solid color ones yet.

Candy is on the 2012 250. Solids are before 2012. There are metallic paints though (like blue).

I really like the candy green, been thinkin bout doin it to my ex since after I crashed and it needs a little fairing repair. Still hard for me though cuz the silver/orange/black looks awesome... anyways. On ninjettes my favorite will always be 2008 red, then followed by candy plasma blue? and candy apple green as a tie for 2nd. Really like the black/white SE models although idk what years those are, and honestly cant go wrong with regular kawi green haha

pretty much everything else is painted so I can blast any of that. Ive yet to do rims so Im not sure if I can or not, So I dont want to promise I can until I do my own and see how they come out. Waiting on the funds to get new tires before I do those though... To have certain types of sand blasters you need permits because we are in city limits, the company doesn't want to pay for that since what we actually do comes to the factory ready to be lightly prepped and done most of the time...

I love the Ninja, its just that random black and white above the headlight and on the windscreen, and the fruity bluish/plum strips on the bodywork and the rims....wtf is up wit that?? Blue rim strips on a lime green bike?? Looks clownish to me, that is all...
