Ebay fairings and fitting the Solo seat cowl
So i went out on a limb and bought some ebay fairings at $507 shipped. I recieved them about three weeks ago and just got around to installing them. The fitment is pretty close minus the right main fairing and the headlight cowl not lining up properly creating around a 1/4" gap where they connect but only on that side. Also the paint on the fairings is pretty good and they were all wrapped very well with a generous amount of foam and packed neatly definitely didn't look forced or thrown in the box. They also had the foam and heat shielding installed. I do have a question for those who have ordered ebay fairings that include a solo seat cowl. How did you fit the seat cowl on there? Mine will lock on the tail but the rear portion which a rubber grommet typically will fix will not reach where the grommet is. Is there a way to rig a way up to make it fit? Basically i can pick up the tail portion of the cowl and have about a inch gap. I was thinking maybe velcro will help keep it down. About to head out riding so ill take some pics of everything also.

You may have bought them on ebay... but with that price and by the looks of them I would say they are OEM not knock off
Perhaps did you put the bracket on incorrectly for the cowl? Maybe if you took a picture it of the underside it could be helpful

Yes i know they are the oem knock off lol like a few of the kits on there. I'm gonna try completely taking everything off again and try it again this weekend weather permitting. I gave it a afternoon trying to get it on straight but ran out of time and just left em since I had my BRC2 the next day. If I can not get them on correctly after using more patience and time ill take a pic of underneath.

Sorry I miss read his reply.
bliss-star-express is the seller i bought from Jack, but there are many different companies on there (I think there is bliss-star also, which I believe is the same company). It took about a month for them to make and ship the set and their communication is excellent, every question I had they gave a prompt reply within 24hrs. |

Thanks, $507 shipped is even cheaper than most knock-offs. I'll check them out.
