so she went down without me... :'(

Someone backed into her... while I was in a quarterly meeting for the company... yeah someone I work with smacked into my bike in the parking lot and left it on it's side (kickstand side) with a broken kickstand, the front fender broken in two, and some twisted forks.... do our forks have any adjustment or are they just garbage now?

You maybe able to loosen the triple tree clamps and align them properly if they are not bent at all.

RRAAAAAAGGEEEEE (No just kidding but really, do people ever think about the consequences of "possibly" treating coworkers (or anyone in their view) unfairly/disrespectfully. Might have just a smidgem to do with the creation of violence.)

Poor Ninja =(

Do you know who did it? Are there security cameras you can check? Uber suckage, I know how it feels. One time a person backed up into my car parked across the street and damaged my fender. I ended up having to replace it with AC sensors ($500 wtf) I knew exactly who it was, since there was only one person in my driveway (mother's friend), and there were no local events going on, buut of course she vehemently denied hitting it. The dark blue/blackish streaks on the fender were clearly not from her bluish/black LS460.

Accountability! Honesty! WHERE YOU AT TODAY??????

Oh yeah, and she never bought the same car back to this day. Guilt haunting ftw

The paint scratch + approximate height of hit would give you a good clue of who did it, if it's a usual car parked over there.

Are there any security cameras in the parking lot? If so, ask security to review the tapes. Also, make sure you call the cops so you can get a report for the insurance.

That's sucks. You have to find out who did it and get their insurance to pay for everything.

I don't know but would you have to file a police report too? It's a hit and run isn't it?

Nice thing about my work place is there's a designated area for motorcycle parking, plus we have security cameras all over the place, I'm on a first name basis with all the security guards and they all know my bike.

But, I always worry anytime I have to park out in "public".

My bike leads a sheltered life.

sorry to hear demp. That just sucks. Try straightening the fork by taking the front fender and stay off, then loosening up the triple trees and axle, and then re-tightening them.... Then check the fender stay to see it's bent.... If it's bent, over time, it might re-tweak the forks.. Best of luck finding the offender...

I have full coverage, but I'd rather make the company pay for this nonsense. I'm far from an expert, but they don't seem too bad, off by an inch or two, more or less. I'll play with it sometime this weekend.

Why would the company be responsible?

so looking at the "front ends" listed on ebay, the only thing that NEEDS to fit, to make another bike's forks fit is the center tube thing up top where our bike attaches to the forks? is that right? - I'm suggesting if I go with an entirely new front end including handlebars and everything down to the front axle
