A solo SMR this morning in Marin

Many of the folks I ride with are off on a weekend adventure, so it was a bit lonely when I passed the Deli this morning and saw an empty parking lot. But I had just installed some new tires on the 300, and really wanted to scrub them in. And at least it gave me more of an opportunity to stop for pictures. I think some of them came out OK, but the settings I was using have the white somewhat washed out on the bike. All pics are up in this gallery in full resolution, but a few of my favorites are below.

If anyone is ever up for a Sunday morning ride in Marin, just let me know.

I like the first picture of the bike the best. Some of those need to go on the splash page account.

In that first picture, did you notice that there's a dead person outline on the road? I just noticed that.

Bicyclists draw all over the hills in that area. Gives them something to look at when they are climbing at 3.7 mph.

3.7? weak. Tell them to pick up up a little!! That's the fun part!. They need to keep at least 15 up hills yo! If they're that slow up hills, they need to be on a compact or mid-compact crank.

At home, my hills are likely smaller than mountain hills, but I have a couple 10-15% grades that are about a mile long, and then it's a constant climb the whole 7 miles home. At school, it's all flat
