Anyone else hate Lady Gaga

A friend of mine made a video expressing how sick and tired he is of hearing her in the media. So I added music to it and cut the video up and scratched it together and turned it into its own parody.

Yep. I saw this when my subscription to you pushed it to my iPhone. Now I know why I haven't been seeing any motorcycle vides lately... new chan and spending time on this stuff.

FWIW, you and I have a lot in common... and I don't just mean that we're both experienced techies from the South-East with 2008 CP Blue Ninja 250Rs: We even weigh about the same and both had pet ducks that met an untimely demise. This is why I listen closely when you have an issue or an opinion... like when your footpeg broke.

It's such a shame that any catchy tune played on the radio or tv will make somebody millions despite if it's incredibly annoying and lacking substance or talentless.

For example, "My humps" from Black eyed peas :
"my hump, my hump, my hump my humps. ...... My lovely lady lumps. ....Check it out."

or even "back that ass up" from juvenile. I tried once, but lost track of how many times the word "ass" and "yeah" was repeated in the song. And that stupid song was #1 for how many damn weeks when it came out.

I'm no song writer or composer so basically I'm just speaking out of opinion, but c'mon! a little more creativity wouldn't kill anyone...

My main issue with Lady Gaga is that if you are going to use sex to sell your music (which I strongly support), you should be attractive first.

Well Sweet Shop has a catchy tune but the music is actually GOOD. And only has like 8 words in the lyrics. Take me High, Take me higher, and a couple other words...

Katy Perry, OH GOD.

i like them all. I see nothing wrong with their music. it gets people off the chair and on to the dance floor. I won't go to their concerts or anything, nor would i spend 12 buck buying their CD's...but i don't hate on them like most of you do :P

Not a fan at all but that telephone song is catchy. Not sure if that is a good thing. But I hate that rararara, babababa, gagaggaga, etc in that Bad Romance song.

Heh, she is crazy, but I think she is a good performer. Better than most, and is probably the next in the line of Racey-Women-With-Good-Voices after probably Madona and then Christina Aguilera.

Ew...I can smell the rot from here.

She's a damn good performer, though, and knows how to brand her image. While her style and music aren't anything new (if anything, she basically combines the styles of all the shock-pop artists from the past) her charisma pretty much sells it.

Now Justin Bieber....there's a kid I'd like to burn at the stake.....

Taylor Swift is pretty talented imo, kinda like Leann Rimes. She may get overplayed on the radio, but at least she writes or co-writes her songs. She also doesn't rely on scandal to promote herself. That's a big +1 to me.

I like Lady Gaga's music even tho her femininity could be questioned. It's a good thing she's on radio and not tv.

I HATE JUSTIN BEIBER. But I love Taylor Swift, and that's not just because she's hot, there's plenty of those in Country music these days...

I think music is kinda like motorcycles-it's all good, someone loved the idea enough, and had enough talent and motivation to make it
happen...
Freedom of expression does end, however when it causes others discomfort. Loud pipes, loud music for example.

All bikes are good bikes, all music is good music.....from there it's a subjective matter of taste.

You may like Celine Dion, but I swear, her voice affects me like draggin a cat across a blackboard...

I don't much care for her music, as it's pretty generic pop fare and I'm much more of a metal/rock type person, but I like her theatricality. I love seeing performers who are totally over the top. If I was ever a musician, I'd definitely use it as an excuse to go fully decked out in face paint and elaborate clothing in a King Diamond/GWAR/KISS/Rob Zombie type fashion

The Beatles are hailed as a great band..but have you ever listened to their lyrics??? nah nah nah nah, heeey jude, obla di, obla da... etc...

Music is art, and it's not always about beautiful poetic lyrics.

BTW I ove her, she's so talented, and she can actually play instrument! OMGG!!!!!!
