Welcome to the site, Senan !!

Sorry to say not; these bikes are not clunky when cold.

Being a 1995, the engine may have some over-specs clearances due to wear.

The good news: if the noise goes away as the engine warms up, there is no immediate damage to expect, only some reduced efficiency maybe.

Keep a close eye on the oil pressure light, it should be off anytime the engine is working.

Best !

clutch basket noise

There's also a well known rattly noise from the clutch basket, if the rubber damper bits inside have disintegrated. This goes away under load.

It doesn't seem to cause any damage, only irritation.
