Nah, probably not. I have my gear with me, but only just in case. I have the car and a pedal bike with me this time. Heading out on the pedal bike shortly, bike more of the BRP that's closed for the season, then idk about the rest of my day. Tomorrow plans are still up in the air, waiting on an email, but who knows.

There are two Yamaha demo days coming up in April at Mountain Motorsports (Buford). I went last year and it was a cool opportunity to try out some bikes that I wouldn't have otherwise gotten a chance to ride! There's also free food (burgers and hot dogs), and it's generally a fun time. I'm planning on going for at least the first day of the first weekend (This year I'm particularly looking forward to trying out the XSR900), and probably more than that. Is anyone else thinking of going?

The first is April 15-17, 10AM-4PM.
The second one is a week later, from April 22-24.

I don't have anything going that weekend, it's 3.5 hours each way there so a bit of a long ride. Love to get a test ride of the both FZ's.

Just a heads up -- the demo day this weekend seems to have been cancelled. The one next weekend seems to still be on.

Who was on the dragon this weekend? I didn't notice a lot of Ninjettes but there were so many bikes they'd have been hard to pick out.

My brother drove down from MI with his bike in the back to spend Saturday out on the roads. We hit the dragon in the morning a couple times, then later in the afternoon we made a loop through Cherohola Skyway through Robbinsville and back up 129.

Killboy got a good picture of me grinding the exhaust on my brother's bobbed GS hybrid into the pavement.

I'll probably be going on Saturday as well. Most likely I'll try to get there in the morning, ride a few bikes, eat some free food, and head out sometime in the early afternoon.

If you're getting directions by GPS, make sure you actually use 1700 Horizon Parkway Northeast. Not including the last bit will take you to the back of this really nice trailer park that has about two thousand speed bumps. Ask me how I know.

The location is pretty prominent (easily visible from 985), but there's no signage on the road and the front of the building faces the wrong way as you come in so you can't see the front, making it fairly easy to miss if you're not paying close attention.

I'm here now, but I'm not scheduled to ride until 3:20. Might want to get here sooner if you want to ride anything; the XSR900 and R6 are booked up already.

Museum is $15. It looks like they only do parade laps after a big race. I think road atlanta was $30 for a slow lap.
