Bel Ray Chain Lube
Bel Ray super chain lube, cleaned off all the excess original grease off the original chain, which has about 1300 miles (was lubed at required times). Again used some degreaser and took off everything left it bare bones. This stuff makes it pratically oem again. comes out watery so i was like wtf this is cheap but then it dries out sticky. Amazed !

What kind of degreaser did you use? I've been using DuPont Motorcycle Degreaser and a grunge brush but I still can't get the chain to come out looking new.

The way I did it is I started cleaning the chain before I washed the bike, degreaser does a better job. Be generous with it. I also use it in the wheels gets the brake dust and oily residue off. |

I use WD40 to clean the chain and it gets it looking brand new every time, then I lube with PJ1.

Got some Bel Ray as a present, but never used it before returning.

Kerosene + PJ1. Cheap and works everytime. I gotta stay cheap since I have to clean and lube every week...doing 500 miles a week with commute.
