Faster flashing signal

Anyone know how to build a flasher that would flash twice the speed of stock flasher (or an adjustable one)? I like the hyperflashing and think it's more noticable to cagers. Saw some circuits that uses the 555 chip..not sure if that will work in our case.

programable flash rate

or the cheap way have different wattages front to back, mine flash fast after putting on 09 sigs (zx6r)

I saw that 2 years ago. I'd like to build it for fun though. Prob cost $10 in parts...
I have all LEDs signals and with stock flasher it's solid light. Changed out with a no load flasher, it flashes stock rate. I'd like hyper flash rate

Yeah, this is a fairly easy mod. Bust it opened and change the resistor to a Variable Potentiometer 100-500k and there you go.

im in the medical field so i'm blind when it comes to electronic stuffs although this seems like a fun little winter project.... need to find a dictionary to find out what a potentionmeter means

Kinda like a variable/ajustable resistor to make it simple. :

increasing value of resistor in the flasher relay causes it to flash faster or slower?

I'm gonna guess that decreased resistance will yield a faster flash. When adding in LEDs (lower resistance than stock incandescent bulbs) you get a quicker flash, which is (one reason) most people need to switch flasher relays. Just a mildly educated guess though.
