Rubbing / chaffing noise

So I have had my bike since Xmas it's a 2012 model. It has 800 miles on it. I like to do my own maintainence and not give the dealer more money. If have this really annoying rubbing / chaffing sound that is only audible at low speed, bit like most noises I am unable to isolate it, if have to go through the motions of what I have done. Right now the bike is on its stands and going through a process of elimination.

China clean and lube...chain is within tolerances and axle is aligned when spinning rear wheel I Hear nothing, except slight brake rub.

Front wheel....after spinning I notice that the front wheel has a considerable amount of brake drag, more so than the rear. And the wheel seems harder to spin. Is this normal or could it be the cause.

Rear fender....removed and tripled checked tightness and installation of led tail light...looks good.

Front fairings removed to install protons and diode kit, again checked nothing rubbing or catching, this is not an area of concern as it was chaffing before I did the install.

Only make the noise while in motion, cannot duplicate while on stands...

Suggestions ?

Just the ticket

Alex thanks for your quick response, that seemed to have fixed it. Removed the axle, there was no grease, lightly greased that, and applied a light amount to the speedo housing, torqued it back at 60 lbs ....was a bitch to get off btw, and silence. Keep you posted should it come back.

Thanks again.
