4 points for each pair of race boots costing more than $300

1x2 point for each pair of motorcycle jeans or cargo pants
3 points for each pair of textile motorcycle pants/trousers
Any points for leather chaps (Needed them to pickup a girl ... lol)

3 points for each textile motorcycle jacket
4 points for each leather motorcycle jacket

2 points for each pair of other shorty or 3/4 leather gloves
3 points for each pair of full gauntlet leather gloves costing less than $200
Full leather padded(high wrist) cold weather gloves (any points?)

Amen brother, same reason why I don't wear glasses or earplugs at the shooting range. I can see the targets better without glasses so it really enhances my aiming. Do you have any idea how many accidents are the result of motorcyclists wearing gloves? The answer is actually quite astounding. Good call on no gloves, ditch the helmet as well, those things can cause neck damage and even kill you in an accident. No thanks!

What I do is take a day and go for a ride to the stores in the area and check the sales rack, this is now getting close to the end of the season.

I have hit up 5 to 6 stores in one day, if you find nothing, well you had a nice day of riding.

Also the stores in my area use CL to list end of stock and one offs.

ok, so I was at 19. This summer, I bought leather gauntlets. That puts me up at 22.

I just bought a Scorpion EXO1000. That's a $300+ helmet, got it for $100 that adds another 4 points onto my score right? So now I'm on 26.

Working on a leather one-piece suit that will boost my score further.

I now have 5 helmets, 2 jerseys (not sure if thats gear), pants, 2 pair of boots, 3 pairs of gloves, 1 jacket. I think thats it. Im a helmet whore. but not as bad as @Jiggles. But also less disposable income.
