It does not, it was on link short even with the master link. Ubless it was because i did not move the wheel up to meet the chain. Well a new longer chain has been ordered so we will see what happens.

Mine did just fine, and yes moving the wheel forward does work, and is perfectly safe, that why it's adjustable.

160 is finally on. Now that the airbox has also been removed, it's time to relocate the brake reservoir, today.

^^^ Cool! Wish my work today was as cool.
  • Drained watery gas outta #511 that @Sirref put in.
  • Put the 06 r6 on the tender, I ran outta tenders for all my bikes and forgot to include it in the rotation. Dead battery... hopefully it is not trashed.
  • More work on the 08 r6 for coaching and track days/races. Battery fully charged, oil changed and general maintenance. She will be ready.

More to come by the end of the day.

You have any pictures of your trailer set up? Your "sleeping arrangements" point interests me

The pics of the shelving will kinda just have to wait, I just started. As far as sleeping arrangements go, I was putting a queen sized air mattress down on the floor, with a small space heater for the cooler weather. This year I have upgraded to cots (me and Kevin) with pads and the same space heater.

I will get ya some pics as soon as I am further along. I should have it all done in the next couple of weekends.

Rode him to work last two days after the valve adjust. Seems to be fine.
Still smells a bit like gas. I think the carbs need work. But hey, now that the horn wire is no longer broken, the horn works again

We got the other 2 rear bolts out but we torched the ones on the front to get them out. I would recommend doing that. Getting the rest of a snapped bolt out sucks. Lol

Red loctite sucks.

Re assembled the carbs with the jet kit. Mounts up the area p. Love it! Put on the pod filter, pulled the cams and time shims out. Just waiting to get new shims and a set of tires. Haven't ridden this bike in 9 months.

After 65,000 miles I'm finally replacing the original pads, goes to show how much I actually use the things. Brand new DID 520 VX2 chain with two new sprockets, still the same 15-41 ratio. The chain and sprockets lasted 26,500 miles before the tight and loose spots could be felt under acceleration.

Well in the past few days I've gone to stainless steel brake lines, adjusted the fuel screws again, and found a nut missing from one my engine mount bolts.

Ordered some stuff today. Didn't really get any work done on the bike unfortunately.

SKF wheel bearings. Gotta pull them for powder coat, may as well get decent bearings to replace with.

14mm MC from a ninja 650.

New name plate for my repacked Muzzy

Pitbull weld-on spool adapters

Pitbull 8mm delrin spools

Will get some T-Rex stands soon. Spool rear, triple lift front.

Swingarm is going to get blasted, bearings serviced, spool adapters welded on, and then painted with bedliner. Rims are going to be stripped down then powder coated bronze. I'm stoked. I still need a new clutch lever, going to buy a spare of both for safety. I also need a couple spare Woodcraft bars. Then it's all going to be putting the whole thing back together.

Bleh. Doesn't even sound good. It's raspy at idle even. Sounds like amplified popping fart. I'll still with an 18" long can full of glass pack. That's where the best sound is at.
