If you buy the gauge it is made to fit any bike . The Kit sell you the individual parts to adapt to a 250 ninja . If KOSO included every adapter to fit every bike the price would be higher .SO you buy the gauge and then buy the things you need to hook it up to your bike .,But the gauge dose not hook its self up or mount itself . You have to do that.
That's what I was expressing: Plug+Play means no wiring to splice/rig. I define it the same as PC peripherals. Male to corresponding female andyour set.

Thaininja as stated before I do not care if you are able to provide these at a lower price. Or if you have people buy from you. I was only offering Koso as a courtesy as are you. The difference between the two kits we offer is the voltmeter/ extra gauge space.

I am in no way trying to chase you off. I am sending you a pm.

It should be called "almost"plug and play . The " Kit "makes it so you dont have to fabricate much . You are correct . It is not a PC type Plug and play.

ive seen the koso gauge with both the standard Koso Dash for our 250s, and the custom dash that Matt is/was offering from Sportisi, imho the one i saw with the Voltmeter looks a lot better. because the Koso gauge on its own is a little small, and with the voltmeter on the left side, it balances it out overall on the dash space. but then again, its just a matter of taste.

that said, i just passed by the Kawasaki dealership earlier today, and they were in the middle of installing a koso gauge on someones ninja, with the standard bracket by Koso, so i asked the price, and here in Bali is around $266 (depending on the exchange rate) including installation

a couple months back i had asked for the price for the koso gauge with the volt meter, it was around $372. both were the RX2 model.

if you add shipping, tax?, and some money for the work involved to organize getting it to your doorstep in the US of A, the price Matt was asking for is perfectly reasonable considering that this is his work/job, and not a charity

nice to see that the dispute was amended in the end though.

whats funny is that they were a little confused installing the Koso at the workshop even though they did it already a couple times apparently! lol so it not quite as easy as upgrading a video card. apparently they cant get the speed to always work right, so i tried t explain that they need to program the wheel circumference, and the number of magnets that they use into the dash, but they just shook their heads and didn't want to deal with it instead the mechanic said he just adds or subtracts a magnet or two till the speed seems about right, ha ha

He got a plug and play cable kit. the only way to have the stock mileage on it is to send the gauge to koso and have them program it in.
