Area P - GB (for the new-gen 250!) Runs through February 28.

The Area P GB is offered for both 250 and 300 models and is available exclusively to ninjette.org members only. Member David White ("diwhiteii") has volunteered to assist with administrating the GB threads on both forums.

It won’t be based on quantity or minimums. It won’t be based on one particular style system. You can drop out without any drama if you change your mind. Payments are not required until the GB ends and we actually begin assembling/shipping orders.

In addition - If we reach orders for 10+ systems on the 250 - at the conclusion of the GB and after all the orders are assembled/shipped –– those names will get “dropped into a hat”. Alex will then pull one name out and that person will get their exhaust system purchase price refunded! We’ll do the same offer for the 300 GB if we reach 10+ systems!

The 250 GB will run until the end of February (28th) 2013. At the conclusion, order processing will commence.

The 300 GB will run until the end of March (31st) 2013. (link to 300 group buy thread) The reason for leaving this one open longer, is simply we are still working on the Tooling/Fixtures. Exhaust Systems are not yet available. Our systems are very complex and unique in design. They share nothing in common with the 250. Therefore, all new Tooling/Fixtures are required and must meet our high standards of precision. Currently we are projecting the first article production systems to be ready for check-fit in Mid-March. Production systems will follow directly after and are projected to be available end of March. If any unforeseen delays in production are experienced, we will still honor the intro GB pricing, provided your name was on the original list at its conclusion (March 31, 2013). And of course you are under no obligation and are free to drop out at any time.

*So what’s the deal? -

For the 250 - $50.00 off any system. $75.00 off when you purchase a system and Jet kit.

For the 300 - $75.00 off any system. $100.00 off when you purchase a system and FI Micro Programmer. (link to 300 group buy thread)

*Limit one order per member. No dealers.

Love this system. Literally the best part of my bike and the gains are noticeable. The sound is perfect, not too loud but lots of grunt; and the look is beautiful. Kerry is nothing less than an absolute pleasure to deal with. Everybody get on this.

Hello to All,

I am David White and am the one assisting with administration of the GB threads on both forums. Feel free to direct your questions to me about the group buy and I make sure to get back with you as soon as possible. Please try to keep your questions inline with the group buy so I can keep accurate data on the number of people interested. I am very knowledgable about the Ninja 250R & 300, so I should be able to answer your question, if not I will contact Kerry to get you the right answer. I am ready to start taking names, so get those tax returns ready!

Keep an eye out for used, I've seen my same model of suit in basically brand new condition go for...much less than I paid. Also it crashes well

Hello Hans,

Area P ships worldwide and shipping to India would be about $110. Area P does have a few maps for the PCV that they developed for a customer years ago with a 250 FI model. This thread is used for professional logging of peoples request so please leave out the favours. I thank you and hope we can get the exhaust you need. Do you want me to add you to the list?

Here is the link to there website:

http://www.areapnolimits.com/product...-Race-2008.php

If you want the most power go with the Area P Mid-High Mount Race System with 18" Muffler. Otherwise pick which style you like better.

Prices are already discounted well below retail so shipping won't be free, but is only $19.50 within the lower 48 states.

Count me in! It's my birthday this month so I'll treat myself

I want the full stainless steel mid-high mount race system with 18" Carbon Fiber Muffler.

I will be installing this on a British ninja 250R, so besides its funny accent it also has fuel injection. Do you guys have the maps I need to install in a power commander?

Also: I guess I'll need a new airbox/filter to go with this exhaust. Can you recommend one? Are there any other changes I should make to the bike to make the most of this exhaust?

Also: how much will it cost to ship to England?

This is going to be an expensive upgrade!

What are you afraid of the length for? I believe the 18 was making somewhere around 0.5-1hp more but the really nice thing about it is that it sounds so sexy without being obnoxiously loud

Welcome to the dark side akima! For the airbox you may just want to remove the snorkel and possible change the filter. If you want more airflow than that but don't want to do pod filters you can also drill your airbox like @choneofakind did

I will be installing this on a British ninja 250R, so besides its funny accent it also has fuel injection. Do you guys have the maps I need to install in a power commander?

Also: I guess I'll need a new airbox/filter to go with this exhaust. Can you recommend one? Are there any other changes I should make to the bike to make the most of this exhaust?
i would remove the snorkel and schedule some dyno runs, so the AFR is tuned perfectly.

If Kerry doesn't have maps, you can start with the maps from Yoshi for their system. I believe they have 2 maps; 1 w/snorkel and 1 for w/o the snorkel.

That would be a good starting place for a shop with a dyno. Heck, it might even be right and feel perfect. Never know.
