I am interested in a new exhaust for the 300. I just learned about this today and did not read the entire thread. I am not on the site as much anymore and am not up to date. I only knew of this because I read the newsletter from @Alex.

I should add that I have no idea what 'type' of exhaust I want. Looking at the list above everyone wants something so specific. :-/

Sorry Rob I was wrong, It is neccessary to keep posting additions ,so that Kerry has a break down of what everyone wants.

Alright, I guess it would be dumb of me to buy a new 250 instead of a 300 so I guess I need in on this. Quiet-long-core Carbon Fiber full system and the FI controller -- if I don't specify otherwise this fits on the standard passenger peg setup right? I want to keep those for my tail bag to lock on to.
Note: this is pending insurance and such panning out on the bike.

Yes, all full systems except the ultra high mount retain the standard passenger peg.

It would probably stick out to far past the tail end of the bike and would look funky.

Another question because I love asking questions

I remember hearing (I may be wrong and/or hallucinating) that if we have an O2 sensor we can get a bung installed straight from AreaP instead of having to get it done third party -- is that correct? Any extra charge? By my understanding the 300 doesn't have a AFR sensor for the injectors and so to get the tuning dead on you would need to watch it yourself with your own external sensor.
Momaru has loaned me his AEM 30-4100 UEGO Controller (originally intended for my 250 RIP) and I'd love to have the AreaP come in a 'plug and play' kind of affair -- I bring this specific part up because I found this thread on a happenstance: http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=75616 where it looks like his first bung was in an inaccessible location.

I would also be interested in having an O2 bung welded on with cap.

I know Area P has installed bungs before, if they still do that is up to Kerry. I had a bung welded in my stock system for my dynojet autotune. I had it welded in the place where the original non-us models weld theirs in. Both of my bikes uses a wideband O2 sensor and will need a new bung welded on to my new Area P systems. I spoke to Kerry about this a while ago, I know they were considering where would be a good place for the O2 sensor on the Ninja 300, but I haven't followed up with him on this topic. I will see what I can find out.

Answer to your question? Directly from the man himself: Kerry

"We are considering it as an option on the 300 systems. *It will be dependant on a single location. Once we determine the best location, there would not be any other optional locations available. We would then make this a permanent location on our fixtures/tooling."

"*The reason for one location only - We previously had issues with offering optional locations on the 250 systems and not being able to accurately determine exact locations by pictures from customers. So now on the 250 systems, we only offer the O2 Bung by itself."

1. "If we do offer this as an installed option - it will be a $45.00 "special order only" at the same time the exhaust is purchased. This will include a CNC'd from billet, 304 series, stainless steel O2 Bung and Tig Welded installation."

2. "If we do not offer it as an installed option - it will be a $25.00 option. This will include the CNC'd from billet, 304 series, stainless steel 02 Bung."

Awesome, I'll at least be picking the bung itself up -- if it's an installed option then I hope we can get a preview of where it is going to go for fit checks but clearly Kerry should just use the sensor I have as his test case

Thanks for checking into this.

Put me down for the Ultra High Mount Stainless and a FI Micro Programmer please.
I was wishy/washy about which system to go after but once I heard the sound clip for the High Mount I was sold.

please include me as well!

hello David,

I'd like to be included in this group buy as well. I spoke with Kerry a couple days ago and I'm quite anxious for production as everyone else here is ;-)

Please include me for the following:

1. Accessory "Solo" Mounting Bracket, "Slanted A", Area P Systems
2. Area P/Fuel Moto FI Micro Programmer
3. Full Standard Mount System, Standard Carbon Fiber Muffler

Please advise if you require any additional information and thanks!

Robert

PS - Just to clarify, this is for the Ninja 300... thanks again!
