Hello from Ireland

I just got here. The weather here is AWESOME!

This is the second time I have been to Dublin, and I will be here until Sunday. Flying back to London on Sunday, then staying there all week.

Visited Ireland, May of 2013, and absolutely loved it! 8 days, more Guinness, whiskey and potcheen than I can remember, lots of sights, friendly people, good food, and a damn good time. We were in Southwest Ireland (County Clare).

The flight over to London was 9-hours. I slept for maybe one. Then we hopped on another plane to fly to Dublin. We will stay here this trip.

I'm now in London. I'm still going through some pictures. My lens was dirty in several. Since I'm on my little Macbook, all I have is lightroom. So those images may be delayed until I get back. For now, here is one shot of a show we went to:

These images didn't do her justice.

That image above was reworked to darken the background and highlight her. Lightroom is a good basic editor. I still prefer Photoshop, but it will do nicely.

Did a tour of London on a bus. I snagged a lot of images from today, but we shall see how they turned out. My laptop is short on memory (forgot to bring external storage). Yay! Not much more space to edit photos. I may drop my movies on here to free up some space. I'll check later.

Hope everyone here is having a good one!

If it's from a bottle with a label it's not real poitín... there's some serious firepower to that stuff

Yeah, we bought some from the Bunraddy castle. The bottles are funny because they have the big labels that say "Now Legal!"

The stuff I had at the pub, though, was made by a friend of the pub owner's. It wasn't offered to the general public.

That sounds more like it, the home brew was probably pushing 85-90%
