They need to giddy up they have till monday. Sucks for me because I'm on a very fine line her between breaking even and going red since sportisi just increased my costs. I have 14 people paid up. If no one else does I will still do the gb but the cost will be increased by $10.

Paid. I tired of checking daily, and something BIG came up, so I was counting on email notification. I never got the PM email notification or a PayPal invoice, so I only got word when I logged in today and I paid immediately.

I've have been busy transitioning from one job site to the next (unexpectedly... literally got the call Tuesday night a couple hours before I was supposed to work), so I had not returned to the site in a week. That put me in a scramble this past week, but I had the funds in PayPal ready to send as soon as I got word. Done.

It sounds like so much trouble for such a little profit (if any). Why aren't you selling these on eBay? At least do one low-risk item at a time. I think that there is no way you'd lose money selling them that way due to clear, demonstrated, demand. One at a time ensures that you don't flood that demand. You are the official distributor, so that's exactly what you should be doing instead of just acting as a go-between. I'm not saying that you need a warehouse with inventory and a distribution network. I'm saying that we were able to order one or place group buys with bprayogo/Bram before you came along and you should use your position to your advantage. I know you get us a better price, but I think you can make quite a bit more money by also doing it the other way to make it worth your while even without a large, risky, investment.

Sell a red one on one week.
Sell a green one the next.
Sell a CF one the following week.

I don't think that's too hard. Heck, I've considered ordering extras from you and doing that myself but I couldn't claim to be the official source like you could. At least set up a test case and see how it goes. Even if you break even, it keeps the channel open, awareness high, and the previous one keeps paying for the next.

If someone comes to you looking for one, tell them that they can pay a bit more for one soon and point them to your auction or wait for you to order one specifically for them.

This whole year has been in the can for me. I under ordered to start the year (I ordered enough huggers to last me until april they were gone in Feb) and have been playing catch up ever since. My margins are still good. So I am happy. I been down the road you suggested and while it sounds easy enough it never plays out 100% as anticipated. With 15 people there is enough there that i turn a profit.

For some reason I wasn't getting the updates to this thread. Am I still in the order or did I miss out on something? I remember hearing something about an extra $10 bucks but then another post about it not being necessary. I never got any emails saying otherwise.

I dont think it went up $10, due to everyone paying up in time. You havent missed anything. we are just waiting on the huggers being made. did you make the 1st payment?

WooHoo!! So can we expect PM's on Monday for the final payment then or are you meaning that they are heading your way and once they get to you we will get the PM about final payment?

Waiting for the ISF form and the bonds to go through (Stupid customs). Then it will be on the boat.

Happy late B-Day . I don't think it will be here for x-mass. Customs takes a while, unless they are already on the ship to come here now!

US customs started being a real stinker this year. I had to file an ISF form and secure bonds on the shipment. The bonds take two weeks (almost over) to clear before the cargo can board. But the alternative is a $5000 fine.

I can start the process on the undertail exhausts at any time. I only have half of the required funding at this time though. Going to try to get it rolling in January.
