Unless the GB hits 20 participants and you can get an unblemished set for $55.90 shipped.

...no one is getting free shipping. So basically, if the gb hits 20 people then they get there rearset adjusters for around $56 + shipping. Blemished sets are $50 + shipping no matter how many people are in the gb. It's really only about a $6 difference if the gb gets to 20 people. Idk how people aren't understanding that.

Hi guys,

Just stopping in to say hi.

Looks like there is a little confusion, so to help clear things up... There was no free shipping offered on any of the parts.

Right now, there should be 8 "Blem" sets available. They will be $50 + shipping. Everyone else can get a prime set for 15% off. (59.49 + shipping) If you can get 20 people together, I will offer the prime sets for 20% off ($55.99 +shipping)

So... the blem sets will still be $5 cheaper.

Just to give you guys a heads up... I had a delay from my aluminum dealer... so we may need to extend the deadline a little. (it will help you with getting 20 people anyway) I would like to have them made, and back from the anodizer before enacting the deadline. That way, I can ship as soon as the orders are placed. I know the deadline was supposed to be the end of this week, or the beginning of next week... but I don't know if the parts will be back from the anodizer by then. (the blem parts will be ready for the original deadline since they aren't getting re-anodized)

I saw a few comments about a "Pre gen" version. What is that? I know there was people asking about the aluminum frame ZZR250, and NO, it's not going to fit those bikes.

Last thing. CycleControl, and A&L Motorsports, are what you would call "Sister Companies." I have allays manufactured the parts, but CycleControl had exclusive rights to them. After Ian Young got sick... I took back the parts to continue support, and selling the product. The parts I'm making right now for you guys will be the same part... but the bottom hole will be slotted by 2mm to accommodate the bikes that seem to have a bolt in a different place. (We think these bikes came out of Canada)

Any other questions... just yell.

The EX250-F is known as the pregen here. Although the ZZR is also technically a pregen, since it is also known as the EX250H and was sold during the same time frame in different markets. The bolting pattern on the rearset are exactly the same on F, G, J (the current model in America), and K models.

Someone here (tapdiggy) has already bolted A&L rearsets to an F model, though there is 1 point of contact that doesn't really affect fitting and function, or so it seems.

Hi,

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I knew that it was a popular bike... but I didn't think that there were that many variations of it. So... I guess, there were 4 versions of this bike? In the USA we only saw 2 officially... right?

Because he responded this way to someone talking about free shipping on the blemished sets:

If you are close enough to pick them up from my shop... then it's free. Heck... I'll bolt them on for you.
It's not hard to go back and trace the confusion to the source. Many would think that it means he can't afford free shipping on the blems but can on the others because of the way the conversation was going.

Silly question, I know, but I could never really get a legit answer.

Rear-sets move the parts back, correct? Does this in turn end up making it a bit more comfortable for us taller folk? After doing 2x 110mi trips, I felt fine on the bike, but stretching your legs on the highway going 80 is an experience...

correct, they move your foot back and/or up

moving them back will bend your knees more and drop your thighs lower
moving them back and up will bend your knees even sharper

idk about you but bending my legs sharper is more uncomfortable
then again im on a supersport

I think all the blem sets have been spoken for. (check the list) And... yes, the blem sets are done, and as long as I have the hardware, I could ship them early. When I get to the shop on Tuesday... I'll make sure I have everything, and I'll let you guys know.

Just as an FYI. All the new parts were sent to the anodizer, but they were back logged a little, and since they will be closed on Monday... but I'm hopping to have the new parts back by the end of next week.

Hi Guys.

Sorry I forgot to post yesterday... but back at the shop, after the holiday was a little nutz.

OK.... You guys are sporting me so.... Guess what.... Let's call it close enough. You got your 20% off

For the guys who want the Blems. I will PM you with a special code to get the price. DO NOT give it out because I only have 8 sets, and I will set up the web site to only take it 8 times. Not trying to be harsh, but they are limited.

For everyone else... I will set up my site this morning, with the new code... and post it back up in a little while.

Currently, I am out of the 6mm coupler nuts. I will order them this morning, and I should have them by Friday. So... I should be able to send the Blems out by Friday.

For everyone else... As soon as the new parts come back from the anodizer... I will be able to ship. I'm hoping to have them back by Friday, and be able to ship by Monday or Tuesday, next week. If you put your order in early... they will ship as soon as they are available. Also, I will not charge your credit card, or send the Paypal invoice until they are ready.

I have a couple things to do this morning... but I will get on the website stuff shortly. That way, you guys can start ordering, and they will ship as soon as I get everything back.

Thanks for the support guys.

Tony

Even though I'm hoping to find a set for under $50 shipped, if I have the money, I'll be ordering a set. I think I'm going to invest in some SV650 DIY clip-ons first but we will see.
