Tinted Shield for RF-1100

I'm looking into getting one for day time riding, but I was wondering which one to get.

Dark
Medium
Light
Yellow
Orange
Half-tint

I'm looking for a sunglasses replacement. Probably dark or medium. What do you guys think?

I use the Dark during days I'm 100% sure I'll be back home well before nightfall. The Medium and Light just aren't dark enough to replace sunglasses in bright sunlight.

(Should be implied, but any of these are a bad idea if you need to ride any later than dusk).

Well that's good enough for me thanks Alex! Do you know what the orange/yellow tints are for?

To change the color of the visor to orange and yellow, silly!

Dark smoke visor FTW. But only use it during the daytime.

Go dark as you can to replace sunglasses.. if you get stuck at dusk/dark flip the visor up and keep a set of clear safety glasses under the rear seat

Btw it looks better if you have a gloss black helmet. From a safety stand point, I really need to get a bunch of reflective tape to make my helmet more visible, lol.

Where did you get it from? Cuz i got mine from ebay (fail on my part) and the tint wipes off easily (especially the tab to lift the lens) and bout to look like a clear lens. Hope yours doesnt have that issue.

Instead of using clear glasses, I just carry my spare (clear) shield with me on my backpack, attached with a couple of carabiners to swap with my mirrored once it gets dark-ish.

I have the Dark Smoke and Spectra (mirrored) visors. From what I've seen, Shoei's Dark Smoke is lighter than other manufacturers (like AGV). The Spectra seems lighter than the Dark Smoke.
