axle nut torque?
anybody have a maint. manual? i have mine tightened untill i can feel resistance turning the wheel then backed off so the wheel spins freely and i can get my cotter pins in.
I dont have a tourqe wrench unfortunatley just wondering

MY shop manual is at the house. When I get home I can look it up for you. Do you need the torque for the front, back or both?

Front - 65 ft-lb
Rear - 80 ft-lb. Good luck. Keep the rubber down. -Kyle

That "resistance" may be that you have the speedo re-installed wrong, it's easy to misalign it.
It's worth double checking. |

yeah i think ill pull it back apart i know im nowhere near 65 ft lbs..with the speedo misaligned will it still read correct? mine is verified by rpm

ok got the tourqe wrench and yes my speedo drive was not meshed properly glad i got it back apart and put together safely...let the flaming begin
