Rpm too high?
Well just to let you guys know i am both new to these forums and a new rider. I recently purchased a 2009 250r. I have not done any maintence on it so far and know absolutely nothing about motorcycle maintenance except lubing the chain. So to me it doesnt look right but when im cruising at 50mph the rpm is at about 6200k on 6th gear. Is this right or where should i start looking for troubles? I have been riding it for about two weeks and it didnt do this to start so is there something i did wrong?

Yup thats the way its supposed to be. At 75mph we're at around 9k give or take. You'll get used to it. Welcome to the forum and riding. Have fun!

Yep, that's how I double check for 5th gear, 55 is 65(hundred).
