Clutch lever/brake lever
Hello!
I am looking for a shorty clutch and a brake lever. I found some online and this may be a dumb question so sorry but are they the same part? The description on the websites to buy them say "clutch brake lever". Without removing these levers on my bike I can't tell if they are the same part. If anyone happens to know the answer I would be grateful for the feedback. I have a 2007 Ninja 250. Thank you! Ninja SD Last futzed with by Ninja SD; March 8th, 2021 at 11:14 PM. Reason: typo |

They are the same, part number 46092 according to Partzilla's parts drawings.
https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/ka...0f7f/handlebar https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/ka...aster-cylinder But the clutch lever that was on my 2005 when I got it is completely different. It has a knob to adjust the lever position. The brake lever I have looks original and has a tab hanging down to push the brake light switch. The parts drawing shows a tab on the clutch lever hanging down similarly, but if you turn the brake lever upside down to use it for a clutch lever the tab will stick up. I don't know what's going on. Edit: A used one on eBay listed as a 2007 shows the type I had: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-Kawasa...UAAOSwJRRelcHV |

How ? Easy . It's been few times I got a call back from the supplier - "We got 5 digits here in your list, we cannot tell what exactly you need - send us the other 4 digits" And that is from the list of items that all have 9 digits specified" So I know, first hand it happens

Hi! Thanks so much for the feedback. Do you know if they are the same part for aftermarket levers such as these?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/CNC-Shorty-...-/193809819006 Much appreciated! |

Thanks for the feedback! I kinda figured I would buy 1 of them and see if it fit on both sides before buying the other one.
Have a great day. |

Based on the two different part numbers for stock levers, and on the fact that they have tabs hanging down to activate switches, it's very unlikely there is one lever that works properly on both sides.
