Added lights in the Pods of my '06 Ninja

I followed info I found on this site and added lights to the pods on my 06 Ninja 250. No 1157 bulbs, I used 2357? In the center for a brighter brake light, and 2397 ? I'm not at home to look at the packages in the pods for a dimmer running light to not overheat the pods.
One change I am going to make with the wiring is to add bullet connectors to the tail light circuit so if I want the pods to only illuminate with the brake lights they can. I already put bullet connectors on the brake light circuit. Going to try and post my first pic. But not sure if it is too large in size- bites.

be careful with which kind of connectors you put on. Bullets are not that great. molex connectors or the ones from corsa-technics are the best. I have tried so many different connectors on my electrical mods that the only ones that work proficiently are molex or corsa-technics. the crimp on ones eventually get ripped apart from use. Maybe your electrical skills are better than mine but i don't use crimps anymore cause i have had it with them. Other than that nice job it looks fine.

Thanks. Are the connectors you use solder-on instead of crimp?

It was on ninja250.org. "I want to wire extra brake lights into those empty rear sockets".

Hope this helps you out, keep in mind that this chart is for incandescent bulbs NOT LEDs

The thing to keep in mind that a change in brightness isn't the most effective brake light, changing the shape is more effective, if you just wire the pods for brake only, not only will it be brighter, but also changes the shape and size of the brake light.

An added bonus would be installing a brake light modulator.

I have done the modulator, along with adding two small CREE LEDs in the bottom of the license plate, along with an CREE LED, and added a reflective red ninja graphic due to the DIY fender chop.

The photos below were taken in direct sunlight to show the brightness of the CREE LEDs.

I converted my pods to turn signals, so adding the two CREE LEDs under the license plate for additional safety and visibility. According to others that have been behind my bike they all say they are extremely bright.
