When I was 10-12 years old, a neighborhood bully who was probably an adult at the time beamed me in the head with a softball-sized watermelon he stole from another neighbor's garden. It split open and knocked me to the ground. When I went down, he pinned me there and spit in my mouth. Before that, the chase lasted about an hour. Needless to say, the guy was retarded. I just remember being too angry to really feel the effects of impact.
