Lubricating front axle ZZR 250

I am working on my front axle/wheel now, and going to lube the axle/bearings as the wheel is off now. I found out yesterday that the bearings are in fact “lifetime” type with no possibility of adding extra lube (they have thise those washers on the sides closing the access to the balls). I am still planning to pack the axle with lube to keep the water out and also pack lube the odo/speedometer unit. The dust seals are still in good shape so I am not going to rellace them at this stage.
There was a bit of lube in so it was not dry but it was not well lubed either.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance..

Those rubber seals on sides can be carefully pried off. Then bearing can be flushed out and cleaned. Repack with Red Line CV-2 synthetic grease. Then push cover back on and you don't have to touch it for another 10-15 years!

I did not know they are serviceable. I will try to pry them with a pick.
Thanks for the advice!
Is kerosene good for flushing ? I remember my granddad used it for this kind of tasks.

BTW I posted the diameters you were asking about in that sticky thread.

Its 15mm for the axle.
