Will changing a tire damage wheel stripes?
I just got some wheel stripes that I am preparing to install, and was wondering if I would need to get a replacement set each time I change a tire???
I use proper rim guards & the Tropicana container panels, but thought with all the soapy water and pushing/pulling/twisting/etc. the stickers might come off.... |

There is that posibilitie that the tape may get damaged so to have some on standby may be a good idea.

When I upgraded to the Pirellis I had the rim stripes on. Didn't bugger them up at all. Had my dealer/service dept install the tires. I was pleased they didn't damage my stripes.

Thats one thing I like about the 09 SE...the rim stripes are painted into the rim.
