MM Blvd always seems to be busy as ****, I tend to stay away from it and take the side roads or Miramar Road.

Yup. Unfortunately, I worked on MM Blvd and lived on Carroll Canyon Rd (the one with the I-15 exit directly between Miramar/Mira Mesa). The Ninjette made quick work of it with daily lane-splitting, so it wasn't that bad for me.

There's a red pre-08 ninja Dow here in Houma who works not to far from me. He pulled behind me for the third time when I got off of work yesterday.

Saw a gray or silver one on the back roads while on my way to the other side of the Georgie/Alabama border today. It was turning left into a gravel lot right behind a cruiser, so I think that must have been some kind of back-road biker bar or diner.

Saw a Black Ninja 300 at the Cupertino Square Mall today, first time seeing another 300 out and about. Then a 2012 black newgen on El Camino around Lawrency Expwy and later a newgen blue on Stevens Creek close to Wolfe. Lots of other bikes on the road today as well!

Just saw a blue NewGen 250 getting on westbound 580 via vasco road in Livermore. Didn't look like the bike had any rear tail fairing, looked like exposed subframe.

Move the green machine and is that not the most depressing picture ever? The shopping cart and bicycle really complete the scene.

Disclaimer: I ate Denny's for the first time in a long time last week in downtown Memphis. Just as awful and irresistible as I remember in college.

Hmmm...let's see. It was in the inner loop (intersection of Falcon and Great Mall Dr. by Marshalls), rider was sporting a green/black-ish helmet that complemented the bike and had what looked like a brown duffel bag backpack.

Was this you?

Quite the opposite. Because of my job I'm in different cities every week, grew up in one and live in one now.

Of all the bikers I saw on my ride today. No ninjettes In fact, I don't think I can ever recall seeing one in my area! Everyone just rides GSXR's around here from what I've seen. There is this odd yellow R6 in the next town over that I can only assume is owned by a girl because it's been done up with pretty butterfly stickers...

The other week it started raining and I needed gas so I pulled into the gas station on the corner of the light I was at when I read my gauge. Ended up pulling behind the same exact year and color of my 2012 newgen. The guy didn't have a under 21 license plate but he still looked about my age, he was sitting there on the little elevated cement slab that the pumps are on looking super depressed because he got caught in the rain. He had no jacket or gloves, but at least he had a helmet even though it looked a size or two too big for him. Eventually he noticed me creepily staring at him and then even more quickly than that realized we both had the same bike. He asked me a few questions about what I did to mine and if I had gone down yet. apparently he had been run off the road before o.0 and just had a bit of light fairing damage on the left side. I then looked at his rear tire and noticed it was squared out and barely had any tread left on the stock IRC. At this point I felt kind of bad so I offered for him to ride tandem with me to help guide him through the rain and traffic until he got to the area he needed to be in since I was going way further than him the same way. I noticed that when he lane changed he was trying to steer the bike rather than shifting your weight and pressing the bars which kind of scared me a few times. He kept trying to ride with no hands IN THE RAIN with a BALDING tire, I politely stated that I wouldn't do that too much in this weather with that tire and he stopped. With a little bit of coaching and some better gear he'd probably have less trouble, he told me he planned on selling the bike to get a car.

Eventually he got to where he needed to be and shook my hand at the light before his turn off. Hope he didn't have trouble down the side roads once he pulled off US1.

I'm still working on the remote gps tracking of all ninjettes, and we can automate this thread entirely.
