Another new Ontario member

Hello all,
Rob here from Ontario Canada.
Just bought a 2011 Ninja 250R for my wife Lisa.
We're about an hour North of Toronto.

Lisa wants to get her M licence.
Me, I've been riding since the '80s.

We just put a deposit on the 250R yesterday, and we will pick it up this Saturday.

It has 6600 kms.
One owner.
Signals flush mounted up front, removed out back along with the fender.
Some aftermarket exhaust, jet kit and K&N filter.
Solo seat cowl, rear pegs removed.
Rear wheel hugger.
Double bubble windshield.

Here she is in the sellers garage.
Will get better pictures.

My other rides;

1978 KZ650C2 I've had since High school.
She has just over 125,000 kms on her:

2000 ZRX1100C4.
Have had this four years.
Love it:

Thanks all.

Got the Ninja home today.
No issues, the bike ran well.
I do find the seat a little uncomfortable after an hour in the saddle.
Will have to look up some seat threads to see what others have done.

Getting the Ninja ready to be certified.
Here in Ontario when purchasing a used vehicle, it needs to be certified/safetied.
Only at change of ownership, then your good for years until it sells again.

Put the side reflectors back on.
The trickle charger was not working, so removed the battery connection and found the fuse blown.

Well Lisa has taken a motorcycle riders training course and passed, getting her M2 License.

So we've been out a few times riding together.
Bought a Sena intercom system so we can talk to each other.
First time I ever had one of those.

I love having intercoms. We never used to, but then the sportbike club got them, so we did, too, and it's been amazing.

Been on a number of rides now.
One 750 kms weekend to Sudbury and back.
Rain most of the second day, and also ran out of gas, both experiences a motorcyclist encounters some time or another.
