Fork Oil change, Yay or Nay??

Bike is at about 40k miles, last did a change at half that. Should I bother again or no?

Buddy says just ride it like you stole it...
No point changing the oil and seals unless they leak...

Its not a race bike, I might end up doing a track day or two though in the summer. It is ridden hard however, as hard as a 250 can be. I've never ridden anything else and know our bikes have a crappy suspension but don't have anything to compare it to, I don't even think I'd even be able to tell a difference if I did the oil...

ok, by top are you referring to the black triple tree thing down there? If so, no they do not hit it when I compress them and let go. Even when I hold the front brake and press down it doesn't come close to touching...So am I good?
