Radiator hose become swallen!! Anybody?

Hi all.. I want to share this.. My engine still stock but have flushed and serviced the coolant&radiator on 25,000 km. Few days ago (the miles at 30,000km later), i'd noticed the hose swallen like it will explode in few kilometers more..

It can break and burn your legs.
Time for replacement.

Agree, time for a replacement, I suggest going with silicone, and might as well order the whole entire engine kit, if that hose is going, the others won't be too far behind, after all they're all the same age.

Replace it now.

It will break at an inconvenient time.

could you provide some feedback on the front brake disc your bike is equipped with ? brand, size, price, a link maybe and your impressions on difference of handling and braking performance ? thank you....

Hi Nick,
if you're looking for more braking power then the caliper is the way to go, with the following order: Brembo, Nissin and long after that Tokico.
The floating calipers are to say it in an easy way: a little bit of better crap...
The bigger rotor is better more or less only for cooling purpose (or for optic as long you don't change your caliper for more power in braking).

I already use a yamaha R1 master cylinder and sumitomo 4-pot brake caliper and the braking power is immense... however I am always in pursuit of every detail I am not aware of.... thank you Roland

So far, the stock caliper and the racing brake pad done the job for my stock engine.
However the large disc will cool down the temp of the racing brake pad quicker than the smaller disc. It's good for long distance ride when braking in corners.
Floating disc will minimized the shock of the sudden quick braking impact.
Any brands of the caliper and pump will not have any difference if its rain while riding.
If my bike speed are more than 180kmh, i would recommend nissin since parts are easily replace and cost less..

peace..

Hey Ben,
I come in peace and hope you didn't understand my write up as going against you - since that was not the case.
It was talk about brakes and it was more against the cheap brake of the Ninja.
When you take a look about brakes and there what the big players use then you'll see only one name - Brembo.
And let me say one more thing and here to make it easy to understand I'll compare this to the German Football (Soccer) Team: There is one trainer but 80 million experts (all of the German population, except me) who know better how they should play their game.
And so one should understand the forums in the www, there you'll find some guys with real knowledge what they've learned, but hundreds of thousands experts with a visual knowledge and this they think is growing with the cc of their bikes.
