Oil Leak?

Hello,

I seem to have a bit of an oil leak and not sure what the remedy is. I have added a pic. It is leaking a very small amount from what may be the sensor or the part in the block? I do believe it is leaking under pressure as it sprays a small amount on the right side fairing. There are also no oil spots on my garage floor. I am not a very handy guy but hope this is an easy fix I can do.

I changed the oil and filter and lubed and tightened the chain. Other than that none. What is a crush washer?

Those are soft metal (copper or aluminum) flat washers that seal the connectors of high pressure systems.

This is the lower connection of the hose that carries pressurized oil from the lower to the upper part of the engine.
On top of that there is a switch that senses the internal pressure of the lubrication system.

First, I would wrap some toilet paper around that connection in order to pinpoint the leak: it could be in the hose or in the connection itself.

You will need to replace the hose in the first case and get a torque wrench and tight the connection in the second one.

The proper torque over there should be 14.5 ft-lb.

I take it I wrap it in toilette while running as to get the leak to spray?

The bike does not need to be moving, just start the engine for a few minutes and check above what area the stain is located.
