Anti-Scratch Shields for helmets :P
I have purchased replacment shields so often they should give them away with a gas fillup.
They scratch when i bump my head on the door leaving the house. They scratch when i clean the bugs off without the towel wet enough. They scratch if i don't set the helmet down like it Grandma's China. At $65.00 each , I have almost repurchased the helmet. How often do you all replace yours ? |

What helmet do you have??!?! The shields don't sound too durable if you're scratching it just by wiping it... or you need a better cloth (ie microfibre)! And 65 a pop is quite hefty. The scorpion fog frees are only 35$
EDIT: o and I'm still on my first 2 after a year - clear and dark smoke |

Use microfiber cloth, warm water and mild soap.
But, my Suomy scratches pretty easy...I know what you mean.

I have two shields. One dark and one clear.
I use Blue Magic Plastic light scratch remover & cleaner then followed bywax to repel water and make it easy to clean the bugs off. |
